Carbon at Risk

Carbon at Risk

Coordinating a multi-sector coalition to design a quantitative risk assessment framework for diverse carbon removal pathways, bringing together insurers, standard setters, registries, marketplaces, financial institutions and academia to better understand and mitigate risks as we build out our global carbon removal portfolio.

Context

Since September 2023 , Bali has been coordinating the carbon at risk initiative. Initially incubated at Rethinking Removals, it is now an independent project built on the belief that successful climate action will require every available solution.

Her work on CaR demonstrates expertise in methodology development, stakeholder engagement, and workshop design. She has secured diverse funding and assembled a coalition consisting of >15 organisations, while co-authoring academic research and developing tools for industry adoption.

Currently funded (part-time) until September 2025.
